X-Ray Vision Reveals Your First Look at the Lois & Clark Box!
TV Shows on DVD reports that the first season of Lois and Clark will be released on DVD this summer--most likely between June 6 and July 8. They also published this picture of the box. I'm so excited!

D and I have gotten WAY too into these DVD box sets. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, West Wing, and now Futurama and Monk (newest acquisitions). They are so addictive! Plus the episodes are only about 45 min. for hour shows and 26 min. for half-hour shows...no commercials, better quality, and some have deleted scenes and/or commentary, which is great. We love watching an episode even on weeknights--no time for a movie, but we have 45 min, right? Evil, evil networks for sucking us into this scam!
Damn that is a nice picture.
Oh, and Suzanne is right, Firefly is way addictive. As is Law & Order, I've been watching the first season of that recently (complete with Chris Noth of Sex & the City fame - it's fun to pretend that he quit his police job and became Mr. Big somewhere down the line. Or maybe that's just me.)
I got Gilmore Girls first season for Christmas and just watched the pilot episode last week. It is so fun to be able to watch whenever I want. I want to buy into another series and I'm debating between Alias and West Wing...
Did you know there is a Firefly movie coming out this year? It's with the original cast and everything. So stupid that Fox canceled it...it was their fault it had low ratings because they showed the episodes in the wrong order. /rant
That is way cool news! I never got into Smallville but, as you know, am a big time Lois and Clark girl!
And as for Alais and West Wing, it's a toss up for me. So I own both sets of box sets.
Failed to be mentioned is that "Lois and Clark" was one of the most unwatchable shows ever created. Ever.
Matt, you better watch out. B and I could take you.
Angel, dearest,
I don't like that you know who it is even when I choose NOT to post my name...speaking Teri Hatcher is having a "Brady Anderson hits 50 homeruns in 1996" type resurgence right now isn't she? And what's Dean Cain up to? Selling fruit with Gerardo (Rico Suave!) down by the Mexican border? Us Weekly needs to let me know...erm, not that I read that or anything.
Matt
Matt, keeping track of you is what site meters were made for. :)
But speaking of Dean, my famous boyfriend, he was in that short-lived series Clubhouse this fall and was on Las Vegas on Monday. He is so hot, and his voice--wow. {fanning self} :)
Gilmore Girls should have a surgeon general's warning on them:
Warning: watching this series on DVD is addictive and side effects may include sleeplessness and aching ribs.
