This weekend

An engineer working for an oil company in my meeting on my Saturday, explaining why she had such a big, ugly and bulky mouse to use with her laptop:

The test of the robustness of a mouse is its use in a pickup truck.

A combination of two terms we weren't supposed to use this weekend:

Studs on the bod: assume the position

That, and the margaritas, could explain the giggle-related exhaustion when I slipped into bed on Saturday night.

Studs I can guess at, painfully; assume, I think I know, though not from experience. But the connection between them and the mouse eludes me. Interesting image, though.

Note: the mouse and studs are totally unrelated. :)

The studs comment sounds totally dirty, but in this case studs is an abbreviation for students--used in the context of students taking a position on the board of directors. Read that statement again and you'll see how innocuous it is. :)

Certainly a lot more acceptable than what I first thought of....though what that says about **me**, I probably don't want to contemplate.
